递归阶乘方法返回一些负数

这是我的阶乘方法:
public static long factorial(int num1) {
    if (num1 <= 1) 
        return 1; 
    else
        return num1 * factorial(num1 - 1);
}

这就是递归阶乘方法:

for (i = 0; i <= 25; i++)
    System.out.printf  ("%d !=  %,d\n", i, factorial (i));

到目前为止,一切看起来都很好,输出结果似乎是正确的,但有些阶乘是负数而不是正数:
