早期停止 Tensorflow 目标检测 API

正如标题所示，有没有办法在TF目标检测API上实现早停？

我在Object detection的github上读到了这个帖子https://github.com/tensorflow/models/issues/5887，其中提到了一个用于早停的repohttps://github.com/hongym7/early_stopping，但这是TF1的旧版本，而我使用的是TF2。

是否有办法在model_main_tf2.py上实现早停？我花了几个小时阅读代码，但我没有看到任何可以实现早停的地方。
