安卓工具栏遮挡内容

我正在使用新的工具栏并将其设置为supportActionBar。我的问题是它覆盖了我的内容。

我以为通过调用setSupportActionbar，系统会自动将内容定位在工具栏视图之下，但事实并非如此。

使用工具栏的正确方法是什么？有些活动中，我希望工具栏是透明的，内容在其后面，而其他活动中，我希望它是不透明的，内容在其下方。
