在OSX 10.7上也遇到了同样的问题。我的解决方法：

cd /usr/bin
sudo ln -s gcc gcc-4.0

我下载的MySQL-python版本要求使用gcc-4.0，而gcc已经是苹果自带的版本了。

P.S. 请确保你已经安装了Xcode和命令行工具。

cd /usr/bin
rm cc gcc c++ g++
ln -s gcc-4.2 cc
ln -s gcc-4.2 gcc
ln -s c++-4.2 c++
ln -s g++-4.2 g++
ln -s gcc-4.2 gcc-4.0

奇怪，我仍在使用OS X Snow Leopard系统，当我输入gcc-4.0时，会得到以下结果：

 i686-apple-darwin10-gcc-4.0.1: no input files

所以我猜实际的实现版本是4.0.1，但可执行文件的名称是gcc-4.0

也许你应该尝试创建一个指向你的可执行文件（4.0.1）的链接gcc-4.0
